a 30 Day Extension for Road Dedication of Emma Way RESOLUTION 9:14:09 - 1 Granting a 30 Day Extension for Road Dedication of Emma Way Councilwoman Barbara Zulauf offers the following and moves its adoption: WHEREAS, the roadway known as “Emma Way” in the Mountain View Subdivision is near completion for dedication over to the Town; and WHEREAS, completion has been delayed due to inclement weather as well as the blacktop contractor experiencing scheduling conflicts; and WHEREAS, according to the Town’s policy, the Town shall not accept any new roads as a town highway later than September 15 or earlier than the next March 15; and WHEREAS, the Town Board has received a letter from the developer, John P. Cunningham & Sons, Inc., requesting a thirty (30) day extension to complete the roadway to the town’s specifications; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby grants the thirty day extension to complete the work which is to include the time required by the Attorney to the Town to examine title materials, proposed deeds and conveyance documents and the inspections by the Town Highway Superintendent and the Town Engineer for dedication by October 19, 2009, provided that the inspection conforms to the town specifications.

RESOLUTION 9:14:09 - 3 Authorizing Attendance at Conferences Councilman Thomas Kinsley offers the following and moves its adoption: WHEREAS, attendance at conferences was included in the 2009 budget; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes attendance at the following conferences: Pattern for Progress Conference on SEQRA Solution, New Paltz, NY; Michael Gallina, Planning Board Member; September 17, 2009 – registration fee $30. (3 credit hours) Hudson Valley Leisure Services Association, Meeting to be held on September 30, 2009 in Highland, NY, Recreation Director, Jeanne Scigliano & Chris Gates, Assistant Rec Director; $45.00. NYSHIP Health Insurance Meeting- Donna Shea, Secretary to the Supervisor, October 21, 2009 in Nanuet, New York – no registration fee.
ROLL CALL VOTE: Dated: September 14, 2009 RESOLUTION 9:14:09 - 4 To Renew Contract with Equitable Assessments, LLC For the 2010 Town of Beekman Assessment Update Councilman Werner Stiegler offers the following and moves its adoption: WHEREAS, Equitable Assessments, LLC conducted the 2008 and 2009 Town of Beekman Assessment Updates; and WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Beekman is desirous to renew the Consulting Agreement for professional valuation and site inspection services with Equitable Assessments LLC for the 2010 update; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes the Supervisor to enter into a one year Consulting Agreement with Equitable Assessments, LLC to conduct the 2010 Town of Beekman Assessment Update as per the attached Scope of Services.

WHEREAS, the 2009 budget includes funding for entertainment for the annual Fall Festival scheduled for October 18, 2009; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the following expenditures for the Fall Festival are hereby authorized: 1. Stolen Heart Band $ 600.00 Seconded Supervisor John Adams
Dated: September 14, 2009 RESOLUTION 9:14:09 - 6 Naming Road in Subdivision off Old Route 55 Councilman Daniel French offers the following and moves its adoption: WHEREAS, it is necessary to name the roadway in the 3-lot subdivision off Old Route 55 on parcel # 132200-6858-00-244126 enabling Emergency 911 vehicles to respond to emergency calls; and WHEREAS, the proposed name has been approved by the Dutchess County Department of Emergency Response and the Beekman Fire District, now therefore be it RESOLVED, the following name is hereby approved for the road in the 3-lot subdivision off Route 55:
