WHEREAS, Town Law Section 123 requires an annual examination or audit of the books and records of certain departments which maintain financial accounts in the Town of Beekman name; and WHEREAS, the Town Board appointed the independent auditor, D’Arcangelo and Co., LLP, on March 17, 2008 to audit the financial records for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2007; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby acknowledges that the audit of the books and records of the Town Clerk, Receiver of Taxes, Justice Court and Building Department has been completed for the fiscal year 2007; and be it further RESOLVED, that said audit has found the books and records of these departments to be in order. RESOLUTION 10:6:08 - 2 Authorizing Fall Festival and Teen Dance Contracts Councilman Werner Stiegler offers the following and moves its adoption: WHEREAS, the 2008 budget includes funding for entertainment for the annual Fall Festival scheduled for October 19, 2008 and the “Teen Dance” to be held on October 24, 2008; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the following expenditures for the Fall Festival are hereby authorized:

RESOLUTION 10:6:08 - 3 Authorizing Attendance at Wetlands Conference
WHEREAS, the Hudson River Environmental Society is holding a conference on small wetlands conservation at Norrie Point in Staatsburg, New York on October 28, 2008 at a cost of $35.00 per person; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that Clifford Schwark and Robert Cohen of the Town of Beekman Conservation Advisory Council are hereby authorized to attend said conference.
