The Beekman Fire District Commissioners meet twice a month. They hold their business meeting on the second Wednesday of the month and their workshop meeting on the last Wednesday of the month. These meeting are held at 7:00pm in the Commissioner's Room at the Beekman Fire House on Beekman / Poughquag Road (CR-7).

The public is welcome to attend.

NOTICE OF MONTHLY MEETINGS OF BEEKMAN FIRE DISTRICT BOARD OF FIRE COMMISSIONERS FOR THE YEAR 2008 PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Regular Monthly Meetings of the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Beekman Fire District will be held on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 P.M. and the Workshop Monthly Meetings will be held on the last Wednesday of each month at 7:00 P.M. at the Beekman Fire House, Beekman-Poughquag Road, Poughquag, New York. PUBLIC NOTICE

RESOLVED, the purchase of radio system upgrade equipment at a cost not to exceed $65,000.00 is hereby authorized; and it is further

RESOLVED, that pursuant to Section 6-g of the General Municipal Law, there is hereby appropriated from the capital equipment reserve fund of the Beekman Fire District in the Town of Beekman, Dutchess County, New York, the sum of not to exceed $65,000.00 to pay for and be applied toward the purchase price of the radio system upgrade equipment.

            The foregoing resolution is adopted subject to a permissive referendum.
