& Building Code RESOLUTION 4:16:07 - 1 RE: Adoption of Local Law Providing for Administration & Enforcement of New York State Uniform Fire Prevention & Building Code Councilman Daniel French offers the following and moves its adoption: WHEREAS, a public hearing on the new regulations adopted by the New York State Department of State Division Code Enforcement and Administration for minimum standards for the administration and enforcement of the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code was duly held on April 2, 2007; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby adopts the new regulations providing for the administration and enforcement of the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code; and be it further RESOLVED, that certified copies of this Local Law be filed immediately in the offices of the Beekman Town Clerk and the New York Secretary of State; and be it further RESOLVED, that this Local Law shall take effect immediately upon its filing with the Secretary of State. RESOLUTION 4:16:07 - 2 RE: Authorizing the Advertising for Bids for Design/Build Project for Landscaping At Creekside Cove Mini Golf Course
WHEREAS, all bids for the landscaping at the Creekside Cove Mini Golf Course were rejected as per the terms outlined in the bid specification packet; and WHEREAS, the scope of this project requires the town to evaluate the applicability of General Municipal Law Sect. 103 requiring the Town to advertise for bids on all contracts for the accomplishment of public works involving an expenditure of more than $20,000; and WHEREAS, the Town Engineer, Rohde, Soyka & Andrews upon request is preparing specifications for a Design/Build Project at Creekside Cove Mini Golf Course; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk is hereby authorized to seek bids according to the Design/Build specifications as submitted by Rohde, Soyka & Andrews. RESOLUTION 4:16:07 - 3 RE: To Authorize Attendance at Tax Receiver Seminar Councilwoman Barbara Zulauf offers the following and moves its adoption:
WHEREAS, the cost of $1,500.00 for registration and lodging and meals for the Receiver of Taxes and Deputy Receiver of Taxes is included the 2007 budget; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that Judith Crawford and Margaret Woolley are hereby authorized to attend the 2007 conference. Seconded Councilman Werner Stiegler ROLL CALL VOTE: Date: April 16, 2007 RESOLUTION 4:16:07 - 4 RE: Ratifying Memorandum of Agreement Between the Town of Beekman and Local 456 Supervisor John Adams offers the following and moves its adoption: WHEREAS, Supervisor John Adams and Councilwoman Barbara Zulauf have negotiated a proposed Collective Bargaining Agreement with Local 456, International Brotherhood of Teamsters for the time period of July 1, 2004 to June 30, 2008; and WHEREAS, the Town of Beekman employees who are members of Local 456 have voted on and approved a proposed Memorandum of Agreement; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the proposed Memorandum of Agreement, including the Addendum, between the Town of Beekman and Local 456, International Brother of Teamsters effective July 1, 2004 to June 30, 2008, is hereby approved for execution by the entire Town Board.
