4:19:04 - 1 To Award Bids for Clean-Up Days
WHEREAS, bids were received for services as described in the legal published notice and opened and read publicly by the Town Clerk on April 2, 2004; and WHEREAS, the lowest bid for bulk material was received from Royal Carting Service Co.; and WHEREAS, the lowest bid for tires was received from Tayco Container Service; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that Royal Carting Service be awarded the contract for the removal of bulk material for both clean-up days at a rate of $101.45 per ton; and be it further RESOLVED, that Tayco Container Service be awarded the contract for tire removal at a rate of $152.00 per ton for both clean-up days; and be it further RESOLVED, that the Supervisor be and hereby is authorized to execute any and all documents necessary to carry out the services.

RESOLUTION 4:19:04 - 2 RE: Authorizing Sale of Sanders Supervisor John Adams offers the following and moves its adoption: WHEREAS, the Town of Beekman Highway Department owns two stainless steel sanders that are of no use to the Town; and WHEREAS, the Dover Highway Department would like to purchase these two items according to their procurement policy; and WHEREAS, the value of a used stainless steel sander is approximately $3,800.00; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the Highway Superintendent is hereby authorized to sell these two stainless steel sanders to the Dover Highway Department at a price of $3,800.00 each.
