Center RESOLUTION 5:1:06 - 1 To Award Bid for Heating/Air Conditioning System At Community Center Councilman Werner Stiegler offers the following and moves its adoption: WHEREAS, the Town Clerk was authorized to seek bids for a dual purpose heating/air conditioning unit at the Community Center; and WHEREAS, the following bids were received, opened and read publicly on April 27, 2006:
Now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the bid is hereby awarded to C&C Mechanical Contracting.

RESOLUTION 5:1:06 - 2 RE: Bond Reduction for Poughquag Country Acres Councilman Daniel French offers the following and moves its adoption:
WHEREAS, certain portions of the bonded work for Poughquag Country Acres have been completed; and WHEREAS, the Town Engineer and Town Highway Superintendent have inspected the site and have determined that the works for which a Performance Bond reduction are applied for have been installed in general compliance with the approved plans and specifications; and WHEREAS, at the April 20, 2006 Planning Board meeting the bond reduction was approved; and WHEREAS, the Planning Board recommends that the Town Board approve a reduction in Performance bond of $210,667.50; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the Town Board approves the reduction in Performance Bond of $210,667.50 for Poughquag Country Acres and authorizes the applicant to substitute the current bond on file in the office of the Town Clerk with the new Performance Bond in the amount of $85,000.00.
