of Local Law #4 of 2006 CAC Membership RESOLUTION 7:10:06 - 1 RE: Adoption of Local Law #4 of 2006 CAC Membership Councilman Daniel French offers the following and moves its adoption: WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly held on June 19, 2006 on a proposed amendment to the Code of the Town of Beekman increasing membership of the Conservation Advisory Council to nine (9) members; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Beekman hereby adopts Local Law #4 of 2006 amending Chapter 7, Section 7-2 of the Code of the Town of Beekman to read,
And be it further RESOLVED, that certified copies of this Local Law be filed immediately in the offices of the Beekman Town Clerk and the New York Secretary of State; and be it further RESOLVED, that this Local Law shall take effect immediately upon its filing with the Secretary of State. Dated: July 10, 2006 RESOLUTION 7:10:06 - 2 RE: Authorizing Town Historian to Attend Workshops
WHEREAS the Teaching the Hudson Valley Institute is hosting a series of workshops July 25 through July 27, 2006 in Hyde Park at a cost of $90.00; and WHEREAS, the funds have been included in the 2006 budget for the Town Historian to attend conferences and workshops; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that Thom Usher, the Town Historian, is hereby authorized to attend said workshops. Seconded Councilman Werner Stiegler
RESOLUTION 7:10:06 - 3 RE: Insurance Renewal Councilman Werner Stiegler offers the following and moves its adoption: WHEREAS, two proposals for the renewal of the Town’s insurance policy were obtained and reviewed by the Town Board; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the Supervisor is hereby authorized to accept the proposal from Selective Insurance Company as submitted by Marshall & Sterling, Inc. and that the Supervisor is authorized to execute the appropriate documents to implement the insurance proposal.
