7:24:06 - 1 To Set Public Hearing To Amend Sect. 19-9 of the Town
Code – Appendix A - Disclosure of Interest Form RESOLUTION 7:24:06 - 1 RE: To Set Public Hearing To Amend Sect. 19-9 of the Town Code – Appendix A - Disclosure of Interest Form Councilman Daniel French offers the following and moves its adoption: WHEREAS, Section 19-9 of Town Code requires the completion of a disclosure of interest; and WHEREAS, in order to obtain more accurate and complete information, the Ethics Board has proposed a new version of the Disclosure of Interest Form, Appendix A of Section 19-9 of the Town Code; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that a public hearing on the proposed change to the Town Code of the Town of Beekman be held on the 7th day of August, 2006 at 7:20 o’clock p.m. at the Community Center, Recreation Center Road, in the Town of Beekman, New York and be it further RESOLVED, that notice of the time and place of such hearing and setting forth the proposed amendment, be published once on or before the 27th day of July, 2006 in the Poughkeepsie Journal, a newspaper circulating in the Town of Beekman. Dated: July 24, 2006 RESOLUTION 7:24:06 - 2 RE: To Award Bid on Mini Golf Course Councilwoman Barbara Zulauf offers the following and moves its adoption: WHEREAS, the Town Clerk was authorized to seek bids for a Mini Golf Course to be installed at Beekman Recreation Park; and WHEREAS, the following bid was received, opened and read publicly at a special Recreation Commission Meeting on July 5, 2006:
Now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the bid is hereby awarded to Cost of Wisconsin, Inc. and as per the terms and conditions as outlined in their proposal; and be it further RESOLVED, that the Supervisor is hereby authorized to sign all documents associated with the order, design and shipment of the mini golf course; and be it further RESOLVED, that the Comptroller is hereby authorized to submit the $1,000.00 deposit required to begin the design of the course and once the design is approved, a 50% deposit will be submitted with the remaining balance due prior to shipment; and be it further RESOLVED, that expenditures will be made from the Special Recreation Fund (SRF). Seconded Supervisor John Adams ROLL CALL VOTE: Dated: July 24, 2006 RESOLUTION 7:24:06 - 3 RE: Authorizing Increase in Petty Cash Amount – Office of the Town Clerk Supervisor John Adams offers the following and moves its adoption: WHEREAS, in order to better service the public and process permit and licensing fees, an increase in the petty cash fund available in the Town Clerk’s office has been requested; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes an increase in the Town Clerk’s petty cash fund from $200.00 to $300.00.

RESOLUTION 7:24:06 - 4 RE: To Authorize Attendance at Tax Receiver Conference Councilman Daniel French offers the following and moves its adoption: WHEREAS, the Northeast Regional Tax Collectors & Treasurers Association annual continuing education conference will be held September 10-13, 2006 in Cape Cod, Massachusetts; and WHEREAS, the cost of $390 for registration and lodging for the Receiver of Taxes is included the 2006 budget; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that Judith Crawford is hereby authorized to attend the conference. Seconded Councilwoman Werner Stiegler
RESOLUTION 7:24:06 - 5 RE: Authorizing Professional Service Agreements with Vanacore, DeBenedictus, DiGovanni & Weddell Councilman Werner Stiegler offers the following and moves its adoption: WHEREAS, the Town requires the services and expertise of a certified public accountant in order to be in compliance with GASB 34 regulations; and WHEREAS, the Town’s accounting consultants, Vanacore, DeBenedictus, DiGovanni & Weddell, have submitted a proposal to provide the following services:
Now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Beekman hereby authorizes the Supervisor to enter into an agreement with Vanacore, DeBenedictus, DiGovanni & Weddell to provide the above services as outlined in the attached agreements.
