12:01:03 - 1 Designating January 2, 2004 as a Holiday RESOLUTION 12:01:03 - 1 RE: Designating January 2, 2004 as a Holiday Councilwoman Barbara Zulauf offers the following and moves its adoption: WHEREAS, Friday, January 2, 2004 follows a designated holiday wherein the town offices are closed; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that January 2, 2004 also be observed as a holiday for the personnel of the Town. CALL VOTE: Dated: December 1, 2003 RESOLUTION 12:01:03 - 2 RE: Authorizing Newly Elected Officials to Attend Training Councilman Peter Barton offers the following and moves its adoption: WHEREAS, the New York State Comptroller's Office will be presenting a teleconference for newly elected town officials on Thursday, December 11, 2003 at the Cornell Cooperative Extension in Millbrook; and WHEREAS, the cost for this teleconference is $10.00 per person; and WHEREAS, section 77-b, subdivision 3 of the General Municipal Law permits the Town Board to authorize attendance for those individuals who were newly elected but whose term of office has not yet commenced and to be reimbursed for all reasonable costs incurred while attending training; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the following individuals are authorized to attend this training program:
