COUNCILMAN STIEGLER         offers the following and moves for its adoption:
WHEREAS, Town Clerk Rachael Rancourt has provided copies of the minutes of the December 7, 2016 Town Board Meeting to all members of the Beekman Town Board; and
WHEREAS, Town Board members have had the opportunity to review said minutes; now therefore be it
RESOLVED, the Town Board hereby adopts the minutes of the December 7, 2016 Town Board Meeting.

RE: Appointments to Various Boards
COUNCILMAN BATTAGLINI            offers the following and moves for its adoption:
WHEREAS, the Town Board will make appointments to the various boards; now therefore be it 
RESOLVED, that the following appointments be made:              
               Tamara La Barbera to the Board of Assessment with a term to expire September 30, 2021              
               Sarah Davis to the Zoning Board of Appeals with a term to expire December 31, 2021              
               David Anderson to the Planning Board with a term to expire December 31, 2023                             
               Geneva Claire Hamilton to the Conservation Advisory Council (CAC) with a term to expire December 31, 2024              
And be it further 
RESOLVED, that all appointments are contingent upon completion and submission of the Disclosure of Interest Statement pursuant to Chapter 19-9 of the Town Code, unless already on file and the information has not changed; and be it further
RESOLVED, that all appointees shall file their Oath of Office with the Town Clerk of the Town of Beekman prior to serving their term.

RESOLUTION NO. 12:21:16 – 4 (186)
RE: Approve Agreement for the Expenditures of Highway Moneys (284)
SUPERVISOR ZULAUF               offers the following and moves for its adoption:
Now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the Agreement between the Town Superintendent of the Town of Beekman, Dutchess County, New York and the undersigned members of the Town Board Pursuant to the provisions of Section 284 of the Highway Law, we agree that the moneys levied and collected in the Town for the repair and improvement of highways, and received from the State for State Aid for the repair and improvement of highways, shall be expended as follows:
1. GENERAL REPAIRS. The sum of $250,000.00 shall be set aside to be expended for primary work and general repairs upon 2.11 miles “4.23 Lane Miles” out of 68 miles of town highways, including sluices, culverts and bridges having a span of less than five feet and boardwalks or renewals thereof.
2. PERMANENT IMPROVEMENTS. The following sums shall be set aside to be expended for the permanent improvement of Town Highways:
 
(a)   On the road commencing at Grape Hollow Rd and leading up to Pepper Hill Rd, a distance of .76 lane miles, 2000 feet of Grape Hollow Rd, “one third of the total length” there shall be expended not over the sum of $44,000.00 for Blacktop Width of traveled surface 20 Feet with a thickness of 2” Sub-base Blacktop and Bank Run Gravel.
 
(b)  On the road commencing at County Route 8 and leading into Lime Ridge Road, a distance of .60 lane miles, 1600 feet there shall be expended not over the sum of $38,400.00 for Blacktop Width of traveled surface 22 Feet with a Thickness of 2” Sub-base Blacktop and Bank Run Gravel
 
(c)   On the road commencing at County 9 and leading into Martin Rd a distance of 1.33 lane miles, “3500 feet” there shall be expended not over the sum of $64,000 for Blacktop Width of traveled surface 22 Feet Thickness 2” Subbase Blacktop and Bank Run Gravel
 
(d)  On the road commencing at Forest Drive Entering into Cypher Lane a distance of .62 lane miles, 1690 feet” there shall be expended not over the sum of $44,100.00 for Blacktop Width of traveled surface 24 Feet Thickness 2” Subbase Blacktop and Bank Run Gravel
 
(e)  On the road commencing at Baker Rd intersection, leading into High Ridge Road, a distance of .92 lane miles, “2600 feet” there shall be expended not over the sum of $59,500.00 for Blacktop Width of traveled surface 22 feet 2” Subbase Blacktop and Bank Run Gravel.

RESOLUTION NO. 12:21:16 – 5 (187)
RE:Resolution Authorizing the Retention of RP HUBBELL & COMPANY, INC. to Appraise a Parcel of Town Land Which has no Municipal Function 
COUNCILMAN DEL VECCHIO           offers the following and moves for its adoption:
WHEREAS, the Town of Beekman is the owner of a land-locked parcel of land, approximately 6 acres in size, obtained by tax deed, situated near Lime Ridge Road and specifically known as Tax Map No.: 6758-00-056139; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Beekman has determined that the property serves no municipal purpose
and is deemed excess real property; and 
WHEREAS, the Town is authorized pursuant to Section 62(2) of the Town Law to sell the
property by resolution of the Town Board and subject to permissive referendum; and 
WHEREAS, prior to offering the property for sale to the public the Town is desirous of retaining
an qualified appraiser in order to determine the property’s market value; and 
WHEREAS, the retention of an appraiser is exempt for the Town’s purchasing policy and the
General Municipal law as it is professional services; now therefore be it 
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Beekman authorizes the Town Attorney to
retain RP Hubbell and Company, Inc. for the purpose of appraising town owned property
specifically known as Tax Map No.: 6758-00-056139 in order to determine its market value in an
amount not to exceed $1000.

RESOLUTION NO. 12:21:16 – 6 (188)
RE: Rescind Resolution 12:07:16-7 Until Further Notice for Elected Officials and Town Board Appointed Employees
COUNCILWOMAN COVUCCI            offers the following and moves for its adoption:
WHEREAS, be Resolution 12:07:16-7 the Town Board approved the 2017 salaries and wages for employees of the Town of Beekman; and 
WHEREAS, based on new information the Town Board now wishes to rescind Resolution 12:07:16-7 and amend such resolution as proved in the amended salary and wage schedule as attached hereto and made a part of hereof as exhibit “A”; and now therefore be it 
RESOLVED, that Resolution 12:21:16 is hereby rescinded; and be it further 
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby sets the salaries and wages for town employees as set forth in the salary schedule attached hereto as Exhibit “A” and be it further 
RESOLVED, that the hourly rates for these positons covered by a collective bargaining agreement are subject to change upon future contracts.
